About:

Remote healthcare services and technology are quickly becoming commonplace for healthcare organizations across the nation. Many Americans don’t have adequate access to mental health services and professionals in their area. As a result, more people are turning to telepsychiatry solutions that let them connect with a mental health professional, no matter their location.

This method allows qualified physicians to provide treatment to patients remotely, expanding access to healthcare services.

Telepsychiatry, specifically, can be as effective as in-person psychiatric consultations and the treatment of disorders such as anxiety, depression, and PTSD. It may be a better option than in-person treatments for some groups of patients.

Providing services via telemedicine offers advantages over traditional medicine, such as:

  • Lower overhead

  • Eliminates travel time

  • Helps to increase patient scheduling

We offer a wide range of services to patients, such as consultations, diagnosis and assessments, therapy sessions, medication management, and routine follow-up meetings.

Telehealth services you will provide:
Consultations:

All consultations are accomplished via video conferencing between patients seeking an opinion from a Nurse Practitioner or a Psychiatrist about symptoms and possible treatment options. Providers will listen, provide support, or information in response to the patient’s concerns.

Psychiatric Evaluations:

A psychiatric evaluation is conducted by a Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatrist and generally includes a patient interview, medical history review, and diagnostic tests. The evaluation will help to establish the diagnosis of a mental disorder or condition and help the clinical team to develop a treatment plan.

Psychiatric evaluations are based on the need of the patient for the Department of Social Services, surgical procedures, workers compensation, short term disability, long term disability, and other areas of needs as well.

Medication Management:

This treatment service includes prescribing medication and providing ongoing monitoring and evaluation based on the patient’s individual treatment care plan.

Mental Health Counseling:

Sessions are done via video conferencing with a certified Counselor. Group or individual session times are given to the patient with directions on how to log-in and join the virtual meeting room.

Counselors will help patients dealing with:

  • Anger

  • Anxiety

  • Bipolar Disorder

  • Depression

  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
